Key Clinical Features

(1) Skin blistering starts at infancy

(2) Blisters heal with milia formation and atrophic scarring

(3) Pruritus develops later during adolescence or adulthood

(4) The clinical picture worsens with onset of pruritus

(5) Nodular prurigo-like lesions

(6) In some cases albopapuloid lesions on the trunk

(7) Nail dystrophy is almost always present
