(1) Generalized, herpetiform blistering on areas of trauma

(2) Blisters usually heal without scarring

(3) Palmoplantar keratoderma during late childhood

(4) Phenotypic improvement of blistering with age

(5) Palmoplantar keratoderma may partially resolve with age

(6) Possible tracheolaryngeal involvement in rare cases
