Skin abnormalities
- collodion membranes or ichthyosiform erythroderma at birth
- generalized lichenification
- dark brown (LI-type) or fine white (NCIE-type) generalized scaling
- erythroderma ranging from very mild to severe
- sometimes diffuse palmoplantar keratoderma
Others
- ectropion
- often severe heat intolerance due to the reduced or absent ability to sweat
- alopecia (in severe hyperkeratotic conditions of the scalp)
